Your own Plant-Based
supplement, made here.
An OEM plant-based supplement manufacturer in Malaysia produces capsules, powders and gummies under your brand. Pea protein is high in lysine and low in methionine while rice protein is the reverse, so a roughly 70:30 blend gives a profile close to whey, and Schizochytrium oil supplies the DHA; NaViBiotech blends under a JAKIM-recognised halal system and registers with NPRA. Physical samples follow in two to three weeks.
Plant-Based: actives, halal, MOQ
Plant-Based, under your brand.

Sebagai kilang OEM plant-based di Malaysia, kami menghasilkan plant-based di bawah jenama anda — halal, didaftarkan, dan dibuat dari awal hingga akhir dengan MOQ rendah.

JAKIM-certified halal
Every product runs through a JAKIM-recognised halal system — the credential that opens Malaysia, the GCC and the wider Muslim market without a second audit.
Two origins, one standard
The same formula runs in Malaysia and in China to the same GMP and ISO 22000 spec. Take a Malaysia country-of-origin to hedge US–China tariffs, or balance cost and capacity across both.
Flexible MOQ
We size the minimum order around your launch, not the other way round. Start small to prove the market, then scale the product line as demand shows up.
Trusted by clients in 50+ countries

Plant substitutes for protein, D3, iron and collagen
Replacing animal inputs without losing function
Going plant-based is a substitution exercise, and some substitutions are not like-for-like. Swapping fish oil for algal oil is straightforward; swapping whey for pea protein changes the amino acid profile, the taste and the viscosity at once. The formulation work sits in closing those gaps, not in the label change.
Protein blending ratios
Pea protein is high in lysine and low in methionine; rice protein is the reverse. Blending them at roughly 70:30 gives a profile close to whey. A single plant protein rarely does, which is why serious plant formulas use two or three.
Algal DHA and EPA
Schizochytrium oil delivers DHA directly and some strains give EPA too. Flaxseed does not: ALA conversion to DHA in adults runs at low single-digit percentages. If the claim is DHA, the ingredient has to be algal.
Lichen vitamin D3
Standard D3 is cholecalciferol from lanolin, a sheep wool derivative. The plant route is D3 from lichen, which costs several times more per unit of activity. D2 from yeast is cheaper but weaker at raising serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D.
Fermented, not shellfish
Glucosamine is normally made from crab and prawn shell. The plant-suitable version is fermented from Aspergillus niger and labelled as such. Vitamin B12 is already fermentation-derived in every supplement, animal-based or not.
Plant collagen is not collagen
No plant contains collagen. Products sold as plant collagen are precursor blends: vitamin C, proline, glycine, bamboo or horsetail silica, sometimes tremella. They are formulable and sellable, but the label has to say booster, not collagen.
Non-haem iron absorption
Plant iron is non-haem and absorbed far less efficiently than haem iron. Ferrous bisglycinate tolerates phytate better than ferrous sulphate, and pairing it with vitamin C in the same dose unit lifts uptake.
Formats
Plant protein and meal-replacement powders move in bulk, so stick packs and pouches dominate; loose-sachet runs start from around 10,000 sticks. Concentrated plant actives, algal oil aside, sit comfortably in capsules and tablets from as few as 100 boxes. Algal oil needs a nitrogen-flushed, oxygen-barrier pack whatever the format.
Halal & sourcing
Plant inputs are usually halal by nature; the exposure is in carriers. Vitamin A, D and E powders are commonly gelatin-beadlet coated, and many flavours are carried in ethanol. Each needs a halal document under our JAKIM-recognised halal systems.
Frequently asked questions about OEM plant-based
OEM plant-based, answered.
Do you do OEM plant-based supplements in Malaysia?
Yes — we formulate and manufacture plant-based supplements under your brand, end-to-end: formula, Halal, NPRA registration, packaging and production.
What is the minimum order for OEM plant-based?
Low, and sized to your launch rather than a fixed factory quota. Capsules and tablets generally start lower than custom drinks or sachets; tell us the format for an exact figure.
How much does OEM plant-based cost in Malaysia?
You get a written quote covering formulation, design and production before you commit, and sampling is free, secured by a refundable RM250/SKU deposit credited back against your order.
Is your plant-based Halal-certified?
Yes — production runs under a JAKIM-recognised halal system, with halal-compliant ingredients and processing throughout.
What formats can you make plant-based in?
Typically capsules, powders and gummies. We will recommend the format that best suits the actives, your audience and your price point.
How do I start my own plant-based brand?
Bring the idea and the audience; we handle the plant-based formula, Halal, registration, packaging and manufacturing. Most founders start with one product and a small run, then expand.
